Russia, of course, is a land of opportunity. But for some reason, we regularly learn about our compatriots who have achieved success not in the clean and spacious offices of Skolkovo, but somewhere in the Netherlands or the USA. Why is this happening? Surely, the reason for this is a multitude of financial and factors beyond the control of the ordinary man in the street. Igor Ivanovich Sikorsky

There, having gained experience, he returned to Kiev, to the local Polytechnic Institute. A steam motorcycle made him famous among his fellow students, and the first prototype helicopter made him famous among the military. A few more years and he becomes responsible for organizing the heavy aviation service for the Russian troops in the First World War, but in nineteen nineteen he will leave post—revolutionary Russia forever, fearing persecution from the new government.
The path of ascent in America will take Sikorsky seven long years of poverty, working for pennies and lecturing in New York schools. However, his talent will overcome everything, and the Sikorsky company, which, by the way, will be in a fever for a long time, will become an internationally recognizable brand.
